Join our supportive district in Elgin, Illinois, a vibrant community just outside of Chicago! We are open to considering highly motivated Clinical Fellows (CFs) and can provide supervision.
Discipline: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) City, State of Campus(es): Elgin, IL (Chicago Area) Start Date/End Date: 2025-2026 School Year Hours per week: Full-time, 37.5 hours (Open to Travel Candidates!) Number of Schools Assigned: Varies by assignment, up to 2 schools Caseload/Job Details: Job location will vary by assignment. Please reach out for more detailed information. Assignments may be across up to two different school sites. The district is committed to providing a supportive environment for all staff.
Job Duties May Include:

Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students of various age groups.

Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) to address students' communication needs.

Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.

Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.

Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings.

Consulting with school staff on strategies to facilitate communication development within the classroom and school environment.
Licenses Required:

Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

An active Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license for Speech-Language Pathology is also required.

For Clinical Fellows (CFs), a temporary license from IDFPR will be needed, and we will ensure supervision is provided.
Compensation:
For this contract position, the average hourly rate is $50-$60 based on experience.
