Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Psychiatrists for a full-time, school-based contract position in Clovis, New Mexico. This opportunity is for the upcoming school year, beginning August 11, 2025, and running through May 21, 2026. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about supporting K-12 students through direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations.

Caseload: K-12 students, including direct therapy and evaluations

Onsite Position
Responsibilities Include:
-
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels
-
Provide direct therapeutic support and crisis intervention as needed
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including school psychologists, counselors, special education staff, and families
-
Contribute to IEP and 504 plan development and attend meetings as necessary
-
Monitor treatment plans and modify as appropriate based on progress
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
-
Support behavioral planning and classroom strategies to promote student well-being
-
Educate school staff and families on mental health concerns and recommendations
Requirements:

Must hold valid New Mexico licensure as a Psychiatrist
-
Must meet all local and state certification requirements for school-based practice
-
Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Strong understanding of special education processes and experience supporting students with diverse needs highly preferred
