Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for high school students

Deliver individual and group therapy services as appropriate
-
Collaborate closely with school staff, special education teams, and families to support students mental health and behavioral goals

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of behavior intervention plans
-
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
-
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
-
Serve as a mental health consultant to teachers and school personnel
-
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school district and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
-
Active and valid license to practice as a Psychiatrist in the state of Kansas

Must meet all local and state requirements for working in a school setting
-
Previous school-based or adolescent mental health experience preferred

Familiarity with special education services and the IEP process is highly preferred
-
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
