Requirements:

Applicants must meet all North Carolina state and local requirements, including:

Valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy License issued by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) preferred
Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting
Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in groups
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Document and monitor student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
