Requirements:

Applicants must meet all Florida state and local requirements, including:

Valid Florida Occupational Therapist License issued by the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy
Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Compliance with required background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by the Florida Department of Education
Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student outcomes
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
