Job Overview What Youll Do:

Work within a school-based setting to assess and treat speech and language disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually or in small groups
-
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support academic success
-
Document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications & Certifications (California Requirements):

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
-
California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
