Job Description: As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will work with students to help them develop or improve the skills needed for academic success and daily living. Your role will include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with teachers and staff, and supporting students functional independence in the school environment. Youll play a key role in promoting student engagement and inclusion.
Minimum Requirements: A masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, a valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine, and certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). All applicants must pass required state and district background checks.
