What Youll Be Doing
As a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elgin, you will support both English- and Spanish-speaking students with speech, language, and communication needs. Your work will include conducting bilingual evaluations, providing culturally responsive therapy, and collaborating with educators and families to ensure students receive equitable services through Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must:

Hold or be eligible for a valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license

Possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Hold or be eligible for a PEL (Professional Educator License) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement

Be fluent in both English and Spanish

CCC-SLP is preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered based on district support

Demonstrate cultural competence and a passion for working with multilingual student populations
