What Youll Do as a School-Based SLP in Texas
In this role, youll work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders. Youll collaborate with educators, support teams, and families to develop and implement IEPs, deliver direct and consultative therapy services, monitor student progress, and participate in multidisciplinary planning. Whether youre working in early intervention, elementary, or secondary settings, youll play a vital role in helping students find their voice and reach their potential.
