Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) for a part-time position (20 hours/week) supporting K12 students within school districts in the Limon, CO area. This is a great opportunity to provide essential therapy services that support student success in academic and functional skills.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following state and local requirements to be considered:

Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Active Colorado license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Ability to pass a background check and district onboarding requirements
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
-
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans that support motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities
-
Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and assist in progress reporting
-
Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote generalization of skills across environments
-
Support the development of strategies and accommodations to improve classroom participation
