Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) for a full-time position in collaboration with school districts in the Riverside, CA area. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to support students academic and functional growth through school-based occupational therapy services.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must meet the following local and state criteria:

Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Active California licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant through the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
Must be able to pass background checks and comply with district onboarding requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement and support individualized treatment plans focused on motor coordination, sensory processing, and self-help skills
Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided and student progress
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support IEP goals and promote classroom success
Assist in therapy planning, assessments, and reporting as needed
