Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) for a full-time, itinerant position serving K12 students in school districts across the LaBelle, FL area. This role requires travel between school sites and offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse student populations in need of therapy services that support academic and functional development.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state qualifications, including:

Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Active Florida licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant through the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy Practice

Valid Florida drivers license and reliable transportation (for itinerant travel between school sites)

Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting strongly preferred
-
Ability to pass background screening and meet district onboarding requirements
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
-
Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
-
Travel to multiple school sites to support students across different campuses
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP team members to help students achieve their therapy goals
-
Monitor and document student progress and assist with assessments and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to therapy planning
