What Youll Be Doing
As a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Niceville and greater Okaloosa County, you will work directly with both English- and Spanish-speaking students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders. You will conduct culturally responsive bilingual evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to provide equitable and effective services to multilingual learners.
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must:

Hold or be eligible for a valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology license

Possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Be fluent in both English and Spanish

Hold or be eligible for Florida Department of Education certification (as required for school-based services)

Have experience or strong interest in serving bilingual and multilingual student populations

CCC-SLP is preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered based on district supervision availability
