Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and dedicated Physical Therapists for a school-based position in partnership with local districts in the Yelm, WA area. Position Overview:

Location: Yelm, WA area
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (based on district needs)
Hourly Pay: $45$50+, based on experience
Contract Renewal: Based on performance and district needs for the following school year

Requirements:

Applicants must meet all state and district qualifications:

Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate or Masters degree required)
Must meet Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) requirements for working in a school setting, including:
- Fingerprint-based background check
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification (may be required by the district)
Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students with physical disabilities or developmental delays
Design and implement individualized therapy plans that support academic access and physical development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
Participate in IEP development and meetings, providing expertise on mobility and physical function
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, goals, and student progress
