As a Speech-Language Pathologist in Anchorage, you will provide direct therapy services to students in a school-based setting, focusing on developing speech, language, communication, and social skills. Youll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to design individualized treatment plans and deliver engaging sessions that meet each students unique needs. Your role will involve conducting assessments, monitoring progress, participating in IEP meetings, and advocating for the best possible outcomes.
State Licensure and Certification Requirements:
Candidates must hold an active Alaska SLP license issued by the Alaska Board of Speech-Language Pathology. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred. Candidates must also meet all school district and Department of Education requirements for working with students.
