Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work full-time in schools across the Anchorage, Alaska area for the 20252026 school year. In this role, youll work under the supervision of a licensed SLP-CCC to provide direct speech and language services to students in need, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve their IEP goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language therapy services as outlined in student treatment plans

Support the supervising SLP in implementing IEP goals

Assist with documentation of student progress and session notes

Prepare therapy materials and organize session activities

Collaborate with school staff and families to promote communication development

Maintain compliance with state regulations and district policies
Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Alaska SLPA license or eligibility to obtain

Experience working with school-aged children preferred

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow therapy plans and directives from supervising SLP
