About the Role:
As an itinerant School Social Worker, you will work across 1 to 5 school sites, providing tailored social-emotional support. You'll play a critical role in bridging the gap between home, school, and community resources to promote student well-being and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

Address student behavioral, emotional, and social needs in coordination with educational teams

Facilitate interventions and counseling services to support academic performance

Conduct risk assessments, develop behavior plans, and monitor progress

Collaborate with families, school personnel, and outside agencies

Serve as a vital advocate and liaison for students and families

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications:

Valid School Social Worker certification/licensure in the state of Kansas

Masters degree in Social Work or related field

Experience in a school-based or youth services setting preferred

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and crisis management skills

Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites
