Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time, onsite position with a school district in Round Lake, IL for the upcoming school year. This role will focus on supporting students in an elementary school setting to enhance their participation and performance in school-based activities.
We are looking for professionals who are passionate about working with children and supporting their educational and functional development.

Requirements:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Illinois OT license

Must meet all local and state guidelines for school-based occupational therapy

Experience working with special education students and families highly preferred
Typical Job Duties:

Conduct assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
-
Provide direct and consultative OT services to support student success in the classroom

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement strategies
-
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
-
Maintain accurate records, service logs, and reports in compliance with school and state requirements
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
