Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position supporting elementary students in Eagle River, AK for the 20252026 school year. Join a supportive school-based team and help students develop critical communication skills.

Caseload: Elementary school students; supporting SLP therapy plans
Responsibilities
-
Provide direct support to students under the supervision of a certified SLP
-
Assist with implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
-
Support student goals related to articulation, receptive and expressive language, and social/pragmatic communication
-
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
-
Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and families to promote student success
Requirements
-
Active Alaska SLPA certification or eligibility to obtain certification by start date
-
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred
-
Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
