Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a part-time school-based position in Sherman, TX. This contract role will support students across a small caseload, providing both direct and consultative services. The district may offer renewal opportunities based on performance while on contract.

Qualifications:

Must meet all state and local licensure requirements for Physical Therapists in Texas

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Experience working with special education students and families is highly valued

Strong communication and documentation skills
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Perform physical therapy assessments to determine students needs
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals
-
Deliver direct therapy services to eligible students
-
Provide consultative support and recommendations for students on a consult-only basis

Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting standards

Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and support staff
-
Participate in meetings and contribute to planning and progress discussions
