What Youll Be Doing
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palm Beach County, youll provide direct therapy and support services to students with speech and language disorders. You'll collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to evaluate student needs, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring

Deliver individual and group therapy services

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation

Communicate with staff and families to support student outcomes

Serve students across a range of age groups and communication needs
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must:

Hold or be eligible for a valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology license

Possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Hold or be eligible for Florida Department of Education certification for school-based services
-
CCC-SLP is preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered depending on district support
-
School-based experience is preferred but not required
