Requirements:

Active School Psychologist license in Illinois

Must meet all state and district requirements for school-based psychological services

Prior experience in a school setting preferred

Experience working with special education students and families is highly desirable

Strong understanding of IEP procedures, MTSS/RTI frameworks, and assessment tools
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for special education services

Interpret assessment results and contribute to eligibility decisions

Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers, parents, and support staff

Deliver short-term counseling and crisis intervention services as needed

Assist in the design and monitoring of behavior intervention plans

Contribute to district initiatives that support student mental health and academic success
