Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time School Psychologist for a hybrid position serving K12 students in the Albuquerque, NM area. This role combines in-person assessments and collaboration with remote services, offering the flexibility of working from home while still being an active part of the school community. You'll play a vital role in supporting student learning, social-emotional development, and behavioral health.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and consult with school staff on behavioral strategies
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide individual or group counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow district, state, and federal compliance standards
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and related service providers both remotely and onsite
Requirements: - Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid New Mexico PED School Psychologist license or eligibility
- Ability to commute for in-person assessments as required
- Strong organizational, communication, and telehealth skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred
