About the Role
As a School Psychologist in New Orleans, LA, you will:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students academic and behavioral needs
-
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and IEPs
-
Collaborate with general education and special education teams, administrators, and families
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education eligibility decisions
-
Provide training and consultation to staff on behavioral strategies and student supports
-
Support crisis response and promote student well-being and mental health
-
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Work with K12 students across a diverse, inclusive school community
Qualifications

Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology

Active or pending Louisiana School Psychologist license

Prior school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Open to candidates based in Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, or other nearby states
