Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel opportunity with a well-supported school district in New Orleans, LA for the 20252026 academic year. This position is ideal for an experienced SLP or Clinical Fellow (CFY) looking to relocate for a rewarding school-based role with full support from our dedicated team.
About the Role
This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week), on-site position beginning at the start of the upcoming school year. The selected candidate will support a diverse PreK12 caseload, providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, tracking progress, and working closely with educators, families, and support staff. Responsibilities

Provide direct speech-language therapy services using evidence-based practices

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to eligibility decisions

Develop and manage IEPs aligned with student goals and legal requirements

Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust services as needed

Collaborate with teachers, families, and student support teams to promote academic and social growth

Consult on assistive technology, AAC devices, and classroom accommodations
Qualifications

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Active Louisiana SLP License or willingness to obtain (licensing support available)

CFY candidates welcome and fully supported (supervision provided)

School-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
