Job Description:
As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will play an integral role in helping students overcome physical, sensory, and motor challenges that impact their ability to succeed in the classroom. Youll be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with teachers and IEP teams, and delivering direct and consultative therapy to promote student independence and participation in school-related tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must possess a valid California Occupational Therapist license and meet all state and district employment criteria, including fingerprint clearance and background checks. A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required. Previous school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
