Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time contract opportunity in Napa, CA for the upcoming school year. This position will serve an elementary school Functional Skills class, supporting students with a wide range of communication needs in a specialized learning environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with moderate to severe disabilities
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine communication strengths and needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with appropriate speech-language goals
-
Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and special education staff to integrate communication strategies across settings
-
Participate in IEP meetings, share progress updates, and support interdisciplinary planning
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and compliance with state and district regulations
-
Support students with speech-language impairments, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and social communication challenges
Qualifications:
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active California SLP license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements for school-based SLPs
-
Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred

Experience working with Functional Skills programs or moderate/severe populations is a plus

Strong collaboration and communication skills
