Blazer Jobs is now scheduling interviews for an experienced and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive elementary school team in Houston, TX. This is a full-time, school-based contract position offering structured support and strong collaboration at the campus level.

Each elementary school campus is staffed with two team members to ensure manageable caseloads and collaborative service delivery. Depending on the site and student needs, this may include:
Typical Job Responsibilities Include:

Conduct speech-language assessments and write evaluation reports

Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals aligned with student needs

Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with communication disorders

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress

Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and parent conferences
-
Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed

Support the use of AAC or other assistive technology when appropriate
