Job Description & Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services to K1 students in alignment with IEP goals

Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations

Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans

Monitor progress, maintain detailed documentation, and prepare reports
-
Participate in IEP and team meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
-
Provide support for classroom-based strategies and carryover of speech/language goals
-
Maintain compliance with state/district regulations and confidentiality (FERPA, etc.)
Qualifications
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
-
Active Michigan SLP license / certification (or eligibility)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Experience working in school settings, especially early childhood / elementary

Strong assessment and intervention skills for articulation, language, phonemic awareness, etc.

Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
-
Ability to manage caseload, documentation, and deadlines
