Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
There is a full-time contract opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Montgomery, AL. Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for this school-based position supporting students with diverse communication needs.
To be considered, candidates must meet all local and state licensure and certification requirements. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.

Develop and implement individualized therapy programs aligned with each students IEP goals.

Provide direct and consultative services to students across a range of grade levels and settings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote communication success in academic and social environments.

Participate in IEP meetings, student progress reviews, and staff consultations.
-
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Educate staff and families on effective communication strategies and use of assistive technology or AAC devices.
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Current Alabama SLP license and Alabama State Department of Education certification.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
