Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time, school-based position in Covington, Georgia for the 20252026 school year. This opportunity offers approximately 2 days per week supporting students in achieving improved physical function, independence, and classroom participation.
About the Role
The Physical Therapist will work as part of a collaborative special education team to assess, plan, and deliver therapy services that enhance student mobility, posture, and motor performance. Youll play an essential role in helping students access their educational environment through individualized interventions and adaptive strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop treatment plans aligned with student IEPs

Provide direct and consultative therapy services to support student goals

Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote functional success

Maintain detailed progress reports, documentation, and compliance records

Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in team-based problem-solving
Qualifications

Active Georgia Physical Therapy License (required)

Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred

Strong understanding of IDEA and IEP documentation standards

Excellent communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
