About the Role
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, youll provide individualized therapy services to students with a range of needs, supporting their participation and engagement in classroom activities. Youll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support teams to design effective interventions that promote independence, confidence, and success.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs

Provide direct therapy sessions and classroom-based consultation

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions
Qualifications

Active Texas Occupational Therapy License (required)

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong understanding of IDEA and IEP processes

Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
