About the Role
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and deliver therapy services to students with diverse sensory, motor, and adaptive needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, youll help ensure that students can access and succeed in their learning environments.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs

Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students and staff

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to maximize student engagement

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state standards

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and review processes
Qualifications

Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy License (required)

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Knowledge of IDEA and IEP requirements

Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
