Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing skilled and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students functional, fine motor, and sensory development in an educational setting.
Requirements:

Must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements for Occupational Therapy Assistants in Pennsylvania

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Current Pennsylvania COTA license required

Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
-
Implement treatment plans to support students fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skill development
-
Assist with evaluating students functional abilities and documenting progress toward IEP goals
-
Adapt classroom materials and activities to promote student success and independence
-
Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom

Maintain accurate records and service documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
-
Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to share input on student performance and needs
-
Support students in achieving greater access and participation across learning environments
