Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Duties

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations

Provide therapy in both individual and group settings to meet each students unique needs

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations and progress monitoring
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs are encouraged to apply

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
