Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional for a PRN Special Education position. This role focuses on providing immediate crisis response, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with school teams to ensure student safety and continuity of care.
Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with school personnel during active mental health crises

Conduct suicidal and homicidal risk assessments and safety evaluations
-
Develop and implement reintegration and crisis safety plans
-
Coordinate mental health services with counselors, social workers, and external providers

Educate students, families, and staff on crisis procedures and mental health supports
-
Partner with local law enforcement when necessary under the 1013 process
-
Provide stabilization counseling and follow-up to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:

Masters degree and current LCSW or LPC licensure (Georgia)

Minimum 3 years of clinical or school-based experience

Proficiency in crisis assessment, safety planning, and mental health interventions

Strong communication and collaboration skills
