Speech-Language Pathologist / Assistant Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Provide speech and language interventions in both individual and group settings

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
Federal and State Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Maryland SLP or SLPA License required

ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred for SLP applicants

Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred

Must meet all state and district background clearance requirements
