Blazer Jobs is seeking an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a collaborative school district in Hayward, California. About the Role
The SLPA will provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role offers hands-on experience in both individual and group sessions, providing continuity of care across diverse student populations. Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct and small-group therapy sessions under SLP supervision

Support implementation of IEP goals and assist with progress tracking

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to reinforce communication strategies

Maintain accurate documentation and assist with student data collection

Promote inclusion and communication access within the classroom environment
Qualifications & Requirements

Active California SLPA License (issued by the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Board)

Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
