Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a dynamic, school-based team in Anchorage, Alaska. About the Role
The SLPA will provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Youll work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that students receive effective and engaging communication support across various school environments.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions under SLP supervision

Support IEP implementation and assist in goal monitoring

Document and track student progress in compliance with district standards

Collaborate with educators and families to reinforce communication strategies

Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning
Qualifications & Requirements

Active Alaska SLPA License (or eligibility for licensure)

Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong interpersonal, documentation, and organization skills
