$65 - $70+ per hour, based on experience, education, and certifications
Minimum Requirements for COTAs in California:

Associates degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.

Current California licensure through the California Board of Occupational Therapy.

Successful completion of the NBCOT certification exam.

Completion of supervised clinical fieldwork.

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Woodland, CA, you will serve a K-12 itinerant caseload across multiple schools, helping students build the skills they need for success in the classroom and beyond. Your role will focus on improving functional independence, motor skills, and participation in learning activities. Youll collaborate with teachers, families, and therapists to ensure each student receives the tailored support they need to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Travel between school sites to serve students within the district.

Maintain accurate and timely therapy documentation and progress reports.

Support students IEP goals and adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
