Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Duties

Conduct virtual evaluations and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams via teletherapy platforms to support student growth

Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Federal and State Requirements
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current Georgia SLP license required; CCC-SLP preferred

Experience with teletherapy platforms preferred

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Georgia school districts
