A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within an educational setting. This role involves traveling to various schools in and around Chula Vista, CA, delivering comprehensive assessments, consultations, and support to students, parents, and educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to inform student support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student achievement and well-being.
- Travel between multiple school locations to ensure consistent service delivery.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychology credential or license.
- Experience conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Willingness and ability to travel between schools within the region.
