This role involves traveling to various schools in and around Chula Vista, CA, delivering comprehensive assessments, consultations, and support to students, parents, and educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to inform student support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student achievement and well-being.
- Travel between multiple school locations to ensure consistent service delivery.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychology credential or license.
- Experience conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
