This opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide specialized services for preschool-aged children (3-5 years old) with speech and language impairments. The positions are based in Berks County, Pennsylvania, serving various community settings including preschools and daycares. You will work with K-12 students, focusing on early childhood speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to children aged 3-5 within community-based environments.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and staff to support each child's communication development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, dedicating Fridays for paperwork and administrative tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license and teaching certification.
- Experience working with young children, particularly those with speech and language impairments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and community partners.
- Ability to manage time efficiently between therapy and administrative duties.
Position Details:
- Location: Berks County, PA
- Work schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with half-hour unpaid lunch); Fridays reserved for paperwork.
- Contract duration: One position available immediately through June 2026; second position from January to June 2026.
