Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support an elementary school in Bonita Springs, FL, on a contract basis for the current school year. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about fostering student well-being and providing psychological services within an educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments to identify students learning, behavior, and emotional needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and interventions to support students social-emotional development
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student concerns and plan supports
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with state and federal regulations
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
