Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide services at an elementary school serving grades K-8 in Wellton, AZ. This is a contract position running through the current school year, with an expected end date of May 27, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observations
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to eligibility and planning discussions
- Providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of students
- Managing an itinerant caseload within K-8 grade levels
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona State OT License issued by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Ability to obtain or possess an IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience conducting evaluations and providing school-based occupational therapy services
This full-time role requires 37.5 hours per week, providing on-site support exclusively. Candidates with strong evaluation and IEP collaboration skills will thrive in this position.
