Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support services within an elementary school setting in Lehigh Acres, FL. The position is full-time, with a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, serving children from PreK through middle and high school depending on school assignment. The contract begins as soon as possible and extends through June 1, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language support to students across assigned schools based on individualized education plans
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement therapy programs
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with educators and families
- Adhere to all licensing regulations and district policies related to speech-language services
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students effectively

Work Location and Schedule:
- On-site work only in schools located within the Lee County School District
- Assignments may include Veterans Park Academy for the Arts, Harns Marsh Elementary, Mirror Lakes Elementary, Oak Hammock Middle, and Estero High School
- Full-time hours at 37.5 per week, typically Monday through Friday
