A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-12 students across multiple schools in the St. Louis, MO area. This contract position offers the chance to work with diverse student populations within a special school district setting, providing critical speech and language therapy services to help students thrive.
Location:
St. Louis, MO (On-site)
Multiple school assignments including middle school, elementary, and self-contained settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 21 years old
- Manage caseloads with varying needs, including students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Missouri state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with diverse caseloads including AAC users
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Work Schedule and Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly
- Contract duration: ASAP start through June 3, 2026
- On-site work at multiple schools, including Bernard Middle School, Riverview Elementary, and Southview School
