Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Ballwin, MO, serving multiple locations in the St. Louis area. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 3, 2026, requiring on-site presence across several schools including middle and elementary schools and a self-contained facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students at Bernard Middle School, including support for 5 students using AAC devices.
- Deliver therapy on a rotating schedule across Koch Elementary (3 days) and Lewis & Clark Elementary (2 days).
- Support students in a self-contained setting at Southview School (K-21).
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Missouri state license to practice as an SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with school-aged children across varied educational settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
