This full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is based in Florissant, MO, serving K-12 students across multiple schools. The position involves providing specialized speech and language services to diverse student populations within a supportive educational environment. This role is a contract assignment for the current school year, beginning ASAP and continuing through June 3, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments
- Serving caseloads in various school settings, including self-contained classrooms and general education
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Managing caseloads of up to 45 students, including those using AAC devices
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Missouri state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) onsite in Florissant, MO
Locations served include multiple schools such as Bernard Middle School, Riverview Elementary, Lewis & Clark Elementary, and Southview School, supporting students from elementary through middle school in both inclusive and self-contained environments.
