A K-12 school in Hopkins, SC is seeking a skilled physical therapist to support student needs throughout the current school year. This is a contract position designed to provide specialized physical therapy services within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy interventions to K-12 students based on evaluations and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
- Conduct ongoing student assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with the school team
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification in physical therapy
- Experience providing physical therapy services in a school environment preferred
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for school-aged children across multiple grade levels
- Strong communication and organizational skills
